Repsychedelic is part of the 2016 SALA festival. Five artists are creating and exhibition with an opening event at the end of July. The event will be free to the public and will bring attention a central community organisation (The Joinery). As a collective we will; install artworks and decorate The Joinery; rehearse a set of music along side an artistic performance; and provide food, drinks and merchandise for the attendees to receive and purchase.
The entire event will feature a month long art exhibition composed by Kaspar Schmidt Mumm, Declan Casley-Smith, Emmaline Zanelli, Walter and Steven Kenyon. As well as an opening event with: music by Legumes, Great Wild and Cosmic Turmoil; a liquid light show by Heath Dalziel and Ben Zeow; and an artistic performance by the artists. A food truck and The Depot Collective’s coffee and snacks will be available on the opening night and The Depot is open during the week to SALA attendees.
Ultimately involving over 30 people to create a free event for Adelaide’s community and an exhibition to see during the SALA festival.
