What comes first, the Market or the Place?
Have you ever thought about what makes the markets so great? Come and join us for a night full of conversation and beautiful local food.
Markets offer a reflection of a city’s identity – our produce, culture, community and changing food trends. Some of
Adelaide’s markets have grown organically and places have formed around them while others were purposefully started to create a place for the community. Come and listen to people from a range of markets and food movements to discuss what makes a market a successful place, what are the challenges they face and what is the future of markets.
Speakers include Nick Begakis, Chair of the Adelaide Central Market and Zannie Flanagan, Willunga Farmers Markets and Wayville Showground Farmers Market.
